The Cultural Resource Management program area offers a range of flexible study options for museum, heritage and cultural professionals that strengthen your practice, build your confidence and advance your career. You can choose to participate in individual courses or work toward a widely recognized diploma or professional specialization certificate.
Our engaging on-campus immersion and online distance education courses strengthen your understanding of best practices in many specialized cultural heritage areas and develop your understanding of the contemporary challenges and opportunities that influence work in the sector. We partner with the Faculty of Fine Arts to offer these innovative programs.
All of our courses relate theory to practice, involve expert instructors and resource people, and bring together a fascinating mix of participants, experience, and perspectives. You will meet people from across the continent and beyond and build a valuable network of colleagues. Please check out our upcoming courses.
As well, you can take individual courses on a credit or non-credit basis. Learn more about credit and non-credit options.
“The opportunity to think, surrounded by equally passionate and informed colleagues, demonstrated the value of shared learning [and] shared exploration. I left with tangible ideas to implement but also a confirmation of the need to reshape the philosophical underpinnings of our profession, and contacts I will certainly continue!”
