Working towards a business admin certificate, you'll develop a grounding in the practical management skills required in contemporary business activities. Each course in the Certificate in Business Administration program is normally 13 weeks in duration and consists of one three-hour class per week. Classes are usually held on the University of Victoria campus on weekdays from 7 pm to 10 pm.
The program may also be completed via distance education.
You may also take one-week, intensive on-campus courses to complete the program more quickly.
An even faster way to earn your business administration certificate is the CBA Fast Track option, which is a full-time 12-week program held on campus Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
Admission and completion requirements
Graduation from secondary school is required for admission to the Certificate in Business Administration. Mature applicants who do not meet this criterion may also be considered on the basis of minimum five years' work experience.
Advanced Standing: Students may transfer up to three courses from the University of Victoria or from other colleges and universities, providing the course content and requirements closely match the certificate courses.
You are required to successfully complete eight courses.
