Please keep the receipts you receive from Continuing Studies. This is the portion of the tuition for each course that you pay directly to the program; it is income tax deductible. At the end of February, accounting will mail you an income tax receipt for the balance of the tuition you paid during the previous calendar year.

Yes, you have the same access to the library as all students at UVic. Library services are accessed electronically by NetLinkID. If you choose to visit the library in person to select hard copy texts you will need to get a student card from the University Centre.
You will register for the PHDA courses through the Division of Continuing Studies. You will need to access your Netlink ID to check your course status, access library services and enter each moodle course site.
Online course work is designed to provide flexibility for scheduling your study hours. Although each individual’s study requirements vary, it is estimated that you will need to spend between 8 and 12 hours per week to participate in online work , complete readings and associated lab assignments.
