Diploma and certificate programs

Our wide range of diploma/certificate programs can help your career progress and create opportunities for professional advancement.

New programs are in development all the time. Recently added programs include: the Social Justice Studies Diploma Program (call 250-721-8462 for details) and the Professional Specialization Certificate in Teaching French Immersion.

An opportunity to connect and grow

Our programs provide a way for professionals already working in different sectors, such as business, health care, museums/cultural organizations, the environment, teaching, and so on, to connect with each other as they learn. It’s a great way to build your professional network!

Individual courses

Join the learning community

Every January and September each year, we offer a new calendar of stimulating, informative and life-enhancing courses for you to enjoy. The range of topics is very broad and includes single courses that you can take just for the fun of recreational learning. You can also take part in short series of courses, workshops or lectures to help you to build your knowledge in a special interest.

Not just on campus!

A surprising number of our courses are offered out in the community along with a variety of other events. And don’t forget, there are many courses you can pursue in a distance online format.
