Most students registered in non-credit community education courses are eligible for Associate borrowing privileges for the duration of the course. Loan privileges extend to books in the general collection which can be borrowed for a four-week period. Take your course receipt to the McPherson Library Loan Desk to arrange for your library card. Other students receive undergraduate library privileges. UVic ID cards must be obtained from the Card Centre, University Centre. Students attending one-day seminars or weekend courses are eligible for Community Borrower (fee paying) privileges. Parking permits are not required after 6 p.m. weekdays, and on weekends and statutory holidays, except in the designated 24-hour reserved areas of parking lots A, B, C, D, E, 6, and the Ian Stewart Complex. Vehicles parked on campus 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, must have a valid parking permit displayed. Limited parking metered spaces are available.
