PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This specialized 4-week program is offered by the English Language Centre and the Faculty of Fine Arts. It combines English language studies with classes in fine arts. Classes provide students with practical experience in their area of interest. This program is currently only available to group registration.
Program Features
All English Language Centre students must:
Students will receive a progress report and a Certificate of Participation at the end of the program. The Certificate of Participation will be awarded to students who attend at least 80% of the scheduled classes. Students who miss 20% or more classes (including late arrival and/or early departure) will not receive the Certificate of Participation. All students will receive a Record of Grade (report card) at the end of the program.
This is not a credit course and does not guarantee admission to the University of Victoria.
Program Schedule
Monday - Friday
8:30 - 10:30am: Intensive English classes which emphasize vocabulary specific to the study of Fine Arts.
10:45am - 12:45 pm: Fine Arts Classes which allow students to gain experience and competence in a particular discipline such as photography, theatre or arts and technology.
