Guidelines of Wound Management for Health Professionals Online Challenge Exam for the Level 1 Course
The Wound Management for Health Professionals Challenge Exam HPPD333 was designed for those professionals who have developed expanded knowledge and skill in relation to wound management through work experience and wish to register in the Level 2 Wound Management for Health Professionals course.
Successful completion of the Challenge Exam will provide participants the required pre-requisite equivalency of the Wound Management Level 1 course and the ability to register in the Wound Management Level 2 course.
Participants must register for this exam and must have access to a computer and internet connection in order to complete the exam.
The Challenge Exam is completed online and consists of 100 questions, chosen randomly from a test bank of questions. Question topics will include: concepts related to wound prevention, assessment, healing, infection, dressings and pain management.
Participants will have 60 minutes from the time they begin the exam, to complete all of the questions.
Participants must achieve a score of 75% to receive equivalency to register into the Level 2 course.
The exam will only be able to be accessed once for completion, participants will not be able to re-enter the exam site once they leave it.
Following registration fee payment for the exam, participants will be given instructions on how to access exam.
After the participant has completed the exam, the exam will be marked and their score will be emailed to them within a few days.
Participants who are not successful in achieving a score of 75% will have an opportunity to place the exam fee towards their registration fee in the Level 1 course.
The Challenge Exam will be available over the following dates only:
Wednesday January 19- 22 and Sunday January 23- 26
