~Who should take the course?

Whatever your range of experience, this TEFL training course will give you a better start and is one of the best investments you can make before entering the world of teaching English abroad.

~This course is particularly for you if you are:

• a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student interested in working internationally in an English as a foreign language context;

• a co-op student planning to pursue a co-op work term in an English teaching context;

• about to graduate and looking to combine rewarding work with travel;

• someone with little teaching experience wishing to teach English as a foreign/second language in Canada or abroad.

~What will you gain from a TEFL course at UVic?

• learn from UVic’s experts in the field of second language teaching and learning;

• relevant and practical hands-on training that will give you skills you can use immediately;

• a credential from UVic that will make you stand out in a competitive marketplace;
