Systems Analysis and Design II

CBIS Technology & Analysis Elective, by Distance

Building upon concepts developed in Systems Analysis and Design I, you will delve deeper into the tasks involved in developing information systems and gain hands-on experience in the techniques of systems development.

The course examines the major issues at each stage in the system development life cycle in detail. This includes requirements analysis, prototyping, functional design, process re-engineering and implementation. Flow charts, entity relationship diagrams, decision tables, and Computer Assisted Software Engineering (CASE) tools are discussed and will be used by the students.
