This course uses a strategic management approach to provide you with a systematic framework for evaluating the strategies, policies, design, productivity and performance of your organization.
Recommended Prerequisites: Finance (BMBA360) and Marketing (BMBA240)
Note: It is strongly recommended that students take business strategy as their final course in the Certificate in Business Administration program
Please Note: This course is offered in multiple formats, but not every format will be offered each term.
On Campus
The course is normally 13 weeks in duration and consists of one three-hour class per week. Classes are customarily held on campus on weekdays from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. This schedule may vary, depending on class format and location.
By Distance
Students login to the course and communicate with the instructor and fellow students via the course management system Moodle. For further information about Moodle, visit the Moodle Startup Kit at http://distance.uvic.ca/onlinehelp/tutorials/moodle/. All assignments and course activities will be submitted electronically to the course instructor.
