This course provides a systematic framework for recognizing the commercial potential of a product or service and for creating and managing a small business to bring that product or service to market.
The characteristics of entrepreneurial activity and small business management will be explained and illustrated through lectures and related case studies. You will be expected to develop your ideas for a small business into a well-conceived and researched feasibility study and a management plan to implement your product or service.

On Campus
This course is normally 13 weeks in duration and consists of one three-hour class per week. Classes are customarily held on campus on weekdays from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. This schedule may vary, depending on class format and location.
Intensive Course
Students may also take a one week intensive on-campus course to reduce the completion time of this course.
In order to perform maintenance on the UVic servers, there will be intermittent outages this Saturday, May 19 from 6:00-8:00 am (Pacific Time). You may not be able to log in to your courses during this period.
