Public relations can assume a wide variety of roles. The technique and the tools you use to deliver your organization's message most effectively will depend upon where it is being used: not-for-profit organizations, private industry, business or government. This course reviews the different kinds of organizations where public relations might be used and the different expectations management has of its function. You become familiar with the kinds of audiences the organization is trying to reach, and the differing strategies that might be included in a communication plan. You will study a variety of models, tools and techniques.
