This course covers all stages of projects, including feasibility, development, management, administration and completion. Standard project management tools such as Critical Path Method (CPM), Project Evaluation Review Technique (PERT), and network diagrams are also covered.
The course presents the concepts and methodologies needed to plan, manage and track performance over a complete project life cycle. These concepts include: cost–benefit analysis, change control management, quality control, performance tracking and corrective action. Further topics presented are time and cost estimating, resource levelling, critical path analysis and charting. You will use Microsoft Project software with a case study to gain practice in applying these concepts.
