By scientific definition humans are hominids, members of the genus homo, more specifically, modern homo sapiens. But it’s a long road back through our ancestry to archaic homo sapiens, further still to their ancestors, the australopithecines, and beyond. Join us on an odyssey through millions of years and countless generations of our ancient family tree to discover who we are and how we got here. It’s a journey fraught with danger, tenacious survival and restless migration.
