Today’s rapidly changing and complex global business environment necessitates the need for highly competent management skills.
Global trade is vital as companies look at how to grow their business. The management skills required to do so will become increasingly important throughout the 21st century. This course covers the importance of operating globally, strategies for reaching global markets, the forces that have an impact on doing business in global markets, trade agreements and establishing global operations.
Please Note: This course is offered in multiple formats, but not every format will be offered each term.
On Campus
This course is normally 13 weeks in duration and consists of one three-hour class per week. Classes are customarily held on campus on weekdays from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. This schedule may vary, depending on class format and location.
Intensive course
Students may also take this course in intensive format on-campus course to reduce completion time. This course is completed in Intensive format as a mandatory part of the Certificate in Business Administration - Fast Track program.
In order to perform maintenance on the UVic servers, there will be intermittent outages this Saturday, May 19 from 6:00-8:00 am (Pacific Time). You may not be able to log in to your courses during this period.
