Great Presentations: Putting It All Together

CACE 0.5 elective credit

Enhance and engage participant learning in your next session. Build scintillating presentations by integrating your content with lecture games, high and low technology tools including PowerPoint, storytelling and other interactive strategies. Find out how to create effective handouts (with and without PowerPoint) which support active learning and application. Explore training techniques utilizing email, discussion forums and cell phones, for face-to-face and distributed learning. Ken, “the interactive guy,” will keep you spellbound with exciting ideas to expand your repertoire of activities. Participants will receive a package of handouts and job aids.

Objective

Students will:

• Be introduced to dynamic openers – great beginners and memorable closers
• Explore time and attention management that engage and involve all learners/audiences
• Learn the use of low tech and high tech media
• Explore the power of storytelling using PowerPoint
• Create reinforcing key messages
• Successfully put it all together!
