Increase your organization’s readiness and capacity to fundraise during this two-day interactive workshop. This session builds your understanding of the role of fundraising within museums, arts & culture and heritage organizations and familiarizes you with a range of tools available to assist your organization in fundraising. The important links between fundraising, marketing and communications as well as engaging constituents in the mission of the organization are also explored. Through this workshop, you will also consider human, financial and technological resources in addition to board development as key elements in developing realistic fundraising strategies. Current trends in philanthropy will be discussed.
This session is designed for both staff and volunteer board members of heritage, arts and culture organizations, foundations, historical societies, local government agencies as well as managers of cultural facilities and historic sites.
